Dr. Damon Odom
D.V.M
Dr. Odom pursued a degree in BS Animal Science at Louisiana Tech University. Afterward, he furthered his studies at Louisiana State University, where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
With more than 20 years of experience, he is an expert in protecting your pet’s well-being. He can handle any concerns pertaining to small and large animals.
In addition, Dr. Odom is a Federally Accredited Veterinarian, licensed by both the States of Louisiana and Arkansas. He ensures that all animals being exported from and imported to the U.S. have passed animal health standards. If you need a certification for your pet for overseas travel, reach out to us.
Dr. Kylie Chenier
D.V.M
Dr. Chenier graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in BS Animal Science. She continued her education and pursued a degree in DVM at St. George’s University.
She practices in small and large animal veterinary medicine. In her more than six years of clinical experience, she has acquired the necessary skill set to effectively diagnose and treat animal diseases.
When traveling with a pet, certain animal health requirements must be met, depending on the destination. As a Federally Accredited Veterinarian licensed by the State of Louisiana, Dr. Chenier can assist you with your pet travel requirements.
Misty Cranford
Practice Manager/Veterinary Technician
Misty joined the OVH family in October of 2018. She began her career in veterinary medicine in January of 2007 as a veterinary assistant. Since then, she has worked her way up as a veterinary technician, Veterinary technician manager until taking the position as Practice Manager in January of 2021. Misty went through technician school at Penn Foster College. Her next plans are to become a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager.
She married her husband in April of 2023 and can be found spending her free time with him and their five children, 5 dogs, and 4 cats. When she gets a moment to herself, she
enjoys gardening or reading.

April Atkins
Veterinary Technician
April joined OVH in January of 2023. She has worked in the veterinary field since 2002. April is a native of Union Parish but also lived in Colorado from 2006 until 2013. April majored in Biology at ULM. She lives in Rocky Branch with her husband of 14 years, Brody. She has an interest in exotics and wildlife rehabilitation. She enjoys the outdoors, traveling and spending time with her family and pets.
Logan Brown
Veterinary Technician (Large Animal)
Logan started at Odom in June of 2020. She graduated from Louisiana Tech in 2023 with a degree in Animal Science. She enjoys spending time with her 7 dogs and 1 cat. Her interest is in large Animal medicine and is hoping to enroll in Vet school in the fall of 2024. When not working, she can be found exercising or reading.
Nicholas Mayfield
Veterinary Technician (Large Animal)
Nicholas joined Odom Vet in August of 2022. Nic is a member of the Louisiana National Guard. He also attends Louisiana Tech where he is majoring in Animal Science and Agricultural Business. Nic lives in Ruston with his family, 3 dogs and 1 cat.
Autumn Farrar
Autumn joined the Odom Crew in the summer of 2010. She is married with two adorable little boys. She has three dogs (Baylor, Woodrow, and Henry) and two cats (Cutcake and BooBoo). Autumn can’t imagine working anywhere else in the world than right here at OVH. In her spare time, you can find her working out or doing anything outside.
Keshia Hodge-Dendy
Veterinary Assistant
Keshia joined the OVH family in July of 2014 after working in veterinary medicine since 2006. Keshia has 8 dogs and 3 cats. In her off time, she can be found hunting with her husband Caleb, her daughter Aubrey and their dogs.
Rose Nastasi
Groomer
Rose has been working at Odom Vet since shortly after opening in 1997. Before that she had been grooming since 1992. Rose worked in a salon as a hairstylist for 6 years before making the switch to animals. When she isn’t making your pets look their best, she can be found at home working with her plants, 2 horses and 2 dogs. Or spending time with her daughter Whitney, her son Wesley or her three grandsons.
